As communities bemoan exclusion at security services

The member representing Ado/ Ogbadibo/ Okpokwu Federal Constituency of Benue State in the House of Representatives Hon. Francis Otta Agbo has assured the people of the area of even development and effective representation.
The lawmaker gave the assurance when the people of Ijihban/Ulayi/Ekile of Benue State that make up the constituency paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the National Assembly Complex on Monday in Abuja
He promised the people led by Hon Emma Ogaba that he is going to be seriously involved in the development of the communities that make up the federal constituency and added that he is going to be fair to them in all issues
He expressed his gratitude to the delegation for electing him to represent them at the highest lawmaking institution of the nation and called for collaborative efforts on their part for community development
He said:”I believe in politics of development. I am going to be fair to all the communities”.
The lawmaker noted that out of the 35 electoral wards for the House of Representatives Seat the Peoples Democratic Party PDP won 33 out of the 35 wards of the Constituency
Earlier the people comprising of Ijihban, Ulayi and Ekile comprising of about 65 kindreds in Ado Local Council of Benue State beseeched the lawmaker to help to bring development to the area.
According to the spokesman or the group, in spite of enormous population, this area of Benue State has for long been marginalized in terms of provision of infrastructural facilities and appointment into government offices
They also bemoaned that the area has for long been sidelined in the nation’s security services and lamented that no indigenes of the area has been appointed to head any of the nation’s security agencies.
