2nd term: Put hope in God, cleric tells Buhari

A Cleric and founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace of God Prayer Mountain, Adamimogo Outreach, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to rely on his political appointees to be able to deliver electioneering promises to Nigerians in his second term.

Alo urged him to put all his hope in God , who has the capacity to turn around the fortunes of any nation.

The Clergyman spoke in Lagos on Saturday during the dedication of a church auditorium tagged Power House built by his Ministry .

The church was located at Baoku Close, Ogombo, Ajah-Abraham Adesanya, Lagos State.

Those who performed ministration at the spiritual event were: Pastor Gideon Obiwale , Chairman, CAC, Osogbo DCC, Pastor Olu Eyebiokin, Superintendent , Agege DCC Pastor J. Adelakun, (aka Ayewa) Evang. Esther Igbekele and a Spiritual singer, Evang. Bisi Alawiye-Aluko.

Alo said Nigerian leaders must learn how to dedicate their leadership to God like the Biblical David, saying this remains the best way for their dreams and policies to be realised .

“President Buhari should not believe in his own capacity and that of his appointees to be able to deliver for Nigerians.

” He must consider God, who made him President after fourth attempt and at old age as very important for him to be successful”, he advised.

Alo said the church was established to propagate the gospel and increase the frontiers of spiritual rebirth for Nigerians

He added that the country needs God’s intervention at this period to be able to overcome its multi -faceted challenges.

The man of God said his ministry is not anchored on money and wealth acquisition, but to spread the gospel for people to be saved from their ruinous path.

“The building of this church was conceptualised to move the work of God higher, particularly to propagate the ideal of CAC founder, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola.

” Apart from spiritual healing and rebirth which many had benefited, our ministry also believes in humanitarian services.

“Thousands of poor people, poor students and others have been empowered through scholarship and job creation and that is what the work of God is all about, to make people happy by loosening them from afflictions”.
