IG to dismiss F-SARS men who check bank accounts, others


No fewer than 200 electricity consumers (Landlords and tenants)  of Federal Housing Sites and Services Scheme,  GRA  Onitsha, Anambra state, were  locked up by the police and officials of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC while protesting alleged plan by the latter to dismantle  their 15 KVA Transmitter to Atani, Ogbaru Local Government Area.

Niger Delta Avengers, the militant group that has dealt a devastating blow on Nigeria oil production of recent, has attacked oil installations again. This time they blew up Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC Pipeline in Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.

The Registered Trustees of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) have dragged the Federal Government to the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice in Abuja over “failure to prevent, account for and investigate killings, raping, maiming of Nigerians and other residents, and destruction of property across the country by herdsmen, the military and police.”
