Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday announced a donation of N5million towards the welfare of widows of members of the Nigeria Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, urging Nigerians and corporate organizations to continue to donate generously towards their welfare.
In line with the move to make loan available to Lagosians the Lagos State House of Assembly yesterday passed the Regulation on the Administration of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund with an interest rate of 5 percent annually for every qualified applicant.
