The Lagos State Government on Tuesday said that the ongoing construction of the Ilubirin Housing Scheme would be completed before the end of the year while it would go on sale to members of the public from the first quarter of 2019.

About completing the Ibadan Expressway to Lagos

Hope raised the other day by the Senate Committee over the completion of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is heartening for Nigerians, many of whom pass through the busy 120 kilometre stretch regularly. The fact that the road has been undergoing a seemingly endless rehabilitation in the past several years leaves a sour taste in the mouth, given its political, socio-economic significance which ordinarily should necessitate accelerated work on it.
