FROM today, over 300 professional editors from the print, electronic and social media will converge on Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital to brainstorm on how best to move the nation’s agricultural sector forward with a view to achieving self sufficiency in food supply and possibly produce for export.
The 12th edition of the All Nigerian Editors’ Conference (ANEC) will hold in Port Harcourt from Aug. 3 to Aug. 7.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Kenneth Ugbechie, Chairman, 2016 ANEC Planning Committee on Tuesday in Abuja. The theme of the 2016 edition is: “Economic Diversification: Agriculture as Option for a Prosperous Nigeria” and the conference is expected to be attended by about 300 editors.
