Success applauds NASU’S return to NLC

Immediate past President of the National Union of Hotels and Personal Services Workers (NUHPSW), Comrade Leke Success, has described the return of the Non- Academic Staff Union of Educational And Associated Institutions (NASU) to the Nigeria Labour Congress  as a welcome development .
The NLC at its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting held on November 6, 2014 approved the return of NASU to the Congress with immediate effect without any pre-conditions
Speaking in Lagos, he said: “The return of NASU to the NLC is a good thing to happen in recent times because as organized labour, we need to urgently regain our voice and our respectability among the rank and file of our members and the Nigerian public.”
According to Success, “the organized labour in the country needs unity because the political elites in the country have shown that they are prepared to drive the nations to the brink, at the slightest sign of stress, for short term personal and clannish interest.
“We as organized labour, must reclaim our role as the champions of the common good; as the protectors of the common interest of the masses.
