State of the nation: Deeper Life calls for patience

The Deeper Christian Life  Ministries has urged Nigerians to be patient with the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The church made the appeal through the leader of its Abuja branch, Pastor Joshua Esho, during a press conference organised to announce the church’s one night prayer crusade, entitled, “Night of extraordinary wonders,” which will hold in Abuja next week by the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor William Kumuyi.
The prayer crusade is to pray for God’s intervention in the affairs of the country.
Esho said, “My appeal to Nigerians is that they be patient and pray for this government to succeed so that all of us can enjoy it together at the end. This administration is just one year and I believe with our prayers and support, we shall succeed together.”
He however charged the Buhari-led government to be sensitive to the plight of the people and do everything possible to alleviate the sufferings of the masses, in accordance with his campaign promises.
Esho said that the crusade which is slated for Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Abuja is a power-packed deliverance and revival programme for individuals and the Nigerian nation, stressing that it is open to all people irrespective of their faith or religious affiliation.
He said over 100, 000 people are being expected to attend the programme and proper arrangement and provision has been made for the big event, adding that the security agencies have been duly contacted to ensure maximum security.
