Some members of the committee according to Senate Twitter handle also expressed shock over lack of accurate number of policemen in Nigeria.

Senator Adamu Ailero said , “In 2019, all your personnel are captured in your pay roll, we want actual figure for 2020, budget, we want to be precise, don’t come with estimation, go and come back with actual figure of the Police force for 2020 before we consider you.”

Also Senator Abba Moro said,”These cadets, the moment you recruit them and come for training, they become your staff, why are you adding to the problem? this constables, where are they now, if they are in training, by standard they are already your staff.
