Sallah exhorts Muslims to bid goodbye to hatred, jealousy, enmity -Tambuwal

FRIDAY OBOH, Sokoto
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State on Sunday described this year celebration of Eld ul-Fitri as a time to bring in an era of love, sympathy, goodwill and bid goodbye to hatred, jealousy and enmity in the country.
In his Sallah message, the Governor urged Muslim faithful to engage in acts that promote national integration and the feeling of brotherhood.

“We must share our joy with the less previlege among us. Eld ul-Fitri is a time of love and goodwill. It give us a message to love all and hate none. It teaches us to embrace all men as brothers”, Tambuwal stated.
He commended Nigerians for their steadfastness despite the economy hardship in the country and expressed the hope that things would get better soon.

“From agriculture to rural development, health to education, women and youth empowerment, housing, small and medium scale enterprices, we have implemented policies that are all designed to reinvigorate the economy of our dear state and enhanced living standard of the people, Tambuwal further stated.
He assured that his administration would countinue to provide welfare for citizens and therefore urged for individual and collective citizens participation for good governance of the state.
