Promo: Fidelity Bank doles out N16m to 13 customers

In line with its commitment to empower more Nigerians, Fidelity Bank Plc Tuesday, gave out a total of N16 million to 13 lucky customers of the bank nationwide at the 3rd monthly draw of its Get Alert in Millions (GAIM) season 4.

Fidelity Bank also gave out 19 consolation prizes of fridges, Television Set and power generating sets to its customers in the South West, South South, South East and in the North. This is the  third draw the bank conducted since the promo commenced in October 2019. The cash wins were in categories of N2 million and N1 million.

The electronic raffle draw, which was held at the bank’s Broad Street Branch, Lagos Island was witnessed by the relevant regulatory bodies including the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Lagos State Lotteries Board (LSLB) and Consumer Protection Council (CPC). Lucky customers who emerged winners in the draw cut across all regions of the country.

The winners include Dare Abiodun Emmanuel; Ugwu Philomena Nneka; Chinenye Catherine Olunna; Egberi Agbarha Kelvin; Ivang Stanley Oham; Chinelo Loveth Egbuchunem; Dare Abiodun Emmanuel; Itabiyi Gbolahan Olakunle Hassan & Adejoke Jokotade; Larei Chindo; Chigozie Darlington Emoka; Khadijah Umar; Muazzam Ad Maizare; Isabella Chekwube Uche; Omolade Bamitale Olatawura.

Others are Joseph James Abah; Oghenetega Emmanuel Erus; Blessing Chidinma Okafor; Loveline Uche Okonkwo; Nafisat Ali Lawal; Comfort Ita Asuquo; Mohammed Halima Sadiya, amongst others. The bank doled out 19 consolation prizes in form of fridges, television sets and power generating sets.

In his opening remarks, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank, Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo said it is worthy to note that by the end of this draw, the bank would have given out a total of N50 million in cash, plus 54 consolation prizes of fridges, television sets and power generating sets to over 93 winners.

Okonkwo who was represented by the Bank’s Executive Director, Shared Services/ Products, Chijioke Ugochukwu said “We expect more winners to emerge at subsequent draws as we still have a total of N70 million and several consolation prizess yet to be won.

Also speaking, Regional Bank Head, Lagos Island, Obiajulu Okafor said today marked the first draw for the year 2020, adding that the promo has been going on for twelve years.

“Today, we are in the season 4 and this is 9th promo and the first draw for the year. Today, I am happy to announce that we have made sixteen people in nigeria millionaires, all across all the various regions of the country from the North, South South, South East and the South West, we have made sixteen people millionaires. They won prizes of N2 million and N1 million, we also had consolation prizes from fridges, Television sets and generator sets.

“In Fidelity Bank, we pride savings as one of the key components of developing the economy. And for people that save with us, we are giving them the opportunity of winning prizes, to reward our customers who have patronized us, who have done business with us and who have saved. So we have this promo which will run frequently to reward people that have saved with Fidelity Bank.

He said, definitely, the promo has increased the bank’s customers bank, adding that the CBN’s Financial Inclusion drive insisted that more people should be brought into the banking net.

“This Promo has helped to create that awareness and has also helped drive the CBN’s financial inclusion strategy,” he said.

Group Head Savings, Mrs Janet Nnabuko said, “As you can see today, 13 people won a total of N16 million and 19 consolation prizes were also given, so our customers are happy and it is one of the initiative as a bank we will continue to empower our customers and also to encourage savings culture and financial financial inclusion strategy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

“With today’s draw, we have given out a total of N50 million,we have N70 million to be given out, we expect more Nigerians to go and open account with Fidelity Bank and if they have existing savings, let them top up their account every month and stand the chance of winning the millions,” she said.

Nnabuko, stated that both existing and new customers can win by simply topping their account with N10,000 for existing customers or someone opening a new account and building it up to N20,000.

She further disclosed that to qualify for the star prize of N3 million one needs to build his account to N50,000 while aspiring for the grand prize of N10 million, one only has to grow his account to N200,000.
