Ogbeche bags season’s 9th goal

Bartholomew Ogbeche scored his ninth goal of the season in SC Cambuur’s 3-1 win over Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
The 30-year-old who was yellow carded in the 58 minute but put the game beyond the hands of their host with eight minutes to go to put scores at 2-1.
Dejan Meleg sealed all three points for Cambuur a minute from full time to lift the modest side to sixth in the league table.
The former PSG teenager has finally gotten his once upon a time promising career back on track since joining the Dutch side.
His last appearance for Nigeria was in 2004, despite making his debut as an 18-year-old and appearing at the World Cup in 2002 as one of the youngest player at the tournament.
A journey man’s career has seen him play in Asia and Europe for nine different teams in less than 10 years.
He is however enjoying his most productive spell in front of goal since scoring nine goals for Spanish Segunda side Cadiz in 2009/2010.
