This year’s Champion Insurance Day Lecture/Luncheon has received another boost with the Director General of Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) Mrs. Sally Mbanefo and Group Managing Director, Custodian and Allied Insurance Plc Mr. Wole Oshin plugging into the elite project. The duo are to join the top shelve technocrats slated to address the event.
This year’s Champion Insurance Day Lecture/Luncheon which is the 14th in the series holds on December 2, 2014 at Lagos Sheraton Hotels & Towers, Ikeja. It is expected to attract a galaxy of insurance industry professionals and other captains of of the Nigerian economy,
While Mrs. Mbanefo will speak on the relationship between tourism and insurance, Oshin will be on hand to talk on the deepening insurance competitiveness in the economy.
The Lecture provides veritable platform for insurance practitioners, chief executive officers of insurance institutions and key stakeholders within and outside the sector to converge and brainstorm on topical issues bothering on development, growth and of course, the future of the risk management sub sector of Nigeria’s economy.
The annual Lecture series will have the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina as Guest Speaker, while Chief (Dr) Oladele Fajemirokun, Chairman, Board of Director, AIICO Insurance Plc, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Group Managing Director (GMD), Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc will be on hand to do justice to their respective papers at the event.
The chairman of the 2014 Champion Insurance Day Lecture/Luncheon Organising Committee Mr. Luke Okoro said that “this years event promises to offer additional value that will at the end of the day, brings about desired change, dynamism to new thinking, new direction such that will promote strong alliances and charts a new course for the sector.”
