Glo-sponsored African Voices hosts Mo Abudu

Glo lights up Kaduna Trade Fair

Cable News Network (CNN) will this week on its magazine programme, African Voices, host television queen, Nigeria’s Mosunmola Abudu, popularly known as Mo Abudu.Renowned for being a talk show host, TV producer, media personality, human resources management consultant and entrepreneur, Forbes also describes Mo as one of Africa’s most successful women. She founded her Ebony Life Television in July, 2013, and the station is reputed to be “Africa’s first Global Black Multi-Broadcast Entertainment Network”.

According to CNN, Mo Abudu would take viewers “behind the scenes of her empire to see how she creates content that has audiences in Africa and abroad clamouring for more”.

The programme will be on air on CNN at 10.30 a.m. on Friday, while catch up editions will come up at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, 12.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on Sunday, 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, 11.30 p.m. on Monday and 5.30 a.m. on Tuesday.

African Voices will equally feature Siba Mtongana, a South African celebrity chef who hosts the  Food Network show “Siba’s Table”. Siba is a judge on “Chopped South Africa”, a hugely popular cooking competition in South Africa.

CNN added that it was taking a “peek into the world of South Africa’s biggest celebrity chef and see how she uses her childhood memories of food and South Africa as an inspiration for her recipes”.

Both women are celebrated on the programme as successful women driven by “perseverance, passion, and positivity”.
