National Telecommunication Company, Globacom has been commended for building confidence with the Nigerian market due to its pro-people and market-friendly strategies.
The Deputy Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Engr. Zubair Adebayo made this remark at the formal opening of new retail shop in the centre of Auchi in Edo State, South-South of Nigeria on Monday.
Engineer Adebayo who registered his SIM card during the event as statutorily required by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), added that “Globacom had shown that telecoms was not only for the rich but for all ”.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Vice Chairman of Etsako West Local Area, Hon. Umar Jeleed, who represented the Chairman, Hon Inusa Imoniti described Globacom as a progressive partner of Auchi people, adding that the company has brought unique telephony services to the community.
Earlier in his address, Obiora Ezeora, Globacom’s Regional Activation Manager, Benin, welcomed the guests to the occasion and commended them for honouring Globacom. He described the Auchi as the number one city in the Afemai nation.
According to him, “This new service centre will be open Monday to Saturday to give our numerous customers the ample opportunity of experiencing our quality customer service without having to travel long distances. It is our desire to facilitate access to our products and services to all our customers”, he said.
“As a company committed to meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations, we assure you of world-class service delivery in our new shop here. We, therefore, urge you to walk into the shop to avail yourself of our services or to make enquiries, seek clarifications, or even offer advice on how best you want us to serve you,” he concluded
The new shop was besieged by excited customers who could not wait for Globacom to formally declare it open before enjoying its unique services.
