Frannberry School supports less privilege at Oniru Victoria island in Lagos

As part of its activities to support the less privileged in the society, Frannberry School recently organized a fund raising. Tagged “Frannberry Annual Charity Bake Sale”.

The event featured display and sale of various snacks made by pupils of the school.According to the Director of the school, Mrs.Ibifuro Àghedo, the money realized is giving to orphanage homes.

Her words “We believe in educating the whole child. It’s important for the children to start realizing at early age that life isn’t all about receiving but also giving. So we give to our community in our own little way.”

Mrs Aghedo further stated, this is the third year . The more we give, the happier we become. We bake and sell. All proceeds go to charity.

When asked why the choice of baking, she said, I love baking and it’s an activity we have incorporated into the curriculum through a programme titled Frannberry Friday Activities. The children always look forward to it.
