Field only good candidates —apc advises Gov Babangida Aliyu

SULEIMAN ISAH Minna
The All Progressive Congress (APC) says the Niger state governor Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu cannot present a salable candidate for the 2015 general election even as it said that the 500,000 signatures for him to contest for the senate is theatrical antics.      The APC hinged their fact in a statement issued in Minna Sunday a copy of which was made available to Daily champion stating the gubernatorial candidate presented by Governor Babangida Aliyu cannot be linked to any profession on the planet earth.      The statement was signed by Jonathan Vatsa ,the public relation officer of APC and it read in part: “We in the APC find it difficult to believe that a man who said Permanent Secretaries and Commissioners must have Masters and Doctorate degrees decided to deceive the people of the state ahead of 2015 general election by parading those with questionable academic backgrounds”.  The party also observed according to the press statement that the do or die approach and the vote buying strategy adopted in the last Niger east bye-election has made  the Governor to mistake fraud for credible process. It has made him and his party People Democratic Party (PDP) to think that they are popular and they can impose anybody on the state. It stressed    “We are aware of his strategy to impose his candidate on the state through dubious processes, with the goal of installing a governor that will not be able to probe the financial recklessness and all sort of administrative disorder that have taken place in the last seven and half years in Niger state”.     It also said “We are very amused by the claim of one Nongovernmental Organization rooting for the governor’s election to the senate the Talba Success Movement (TSM) that they have collected 500,000 signature for Dr Chief Servant to contest for Niger east Senatorial Seat in 2015 .
The truth is coming out; the APC is proven right that Dr Shem Zagbayi is a stooge of the Governor who will be quitting in 2015”.  “The claim has also shown us that the Governor through his cronies is not truthful to Nigerlites because it is difficult to have 500.000 signatures in a senatorial zone where less than 200. 000 people actually came out to be accredited to vote in the last bye-election”.
The party then resolved that it would intensify efforts to checkmate those who don’t mean well for Niger state and urged the people not to allow themselves to be deceived by the PDP and the Governor’s antics of buying votes  End
