FEDPOFFA deputy rector’s daughter, Ruth, weds hearthrob

It was a colourful atmosphere at the solemnization of the holy matrimony between Dr. Ruth, daughter of the Deputy Rector in charge of administration of the Federal Polytechnic Offa’, Dr. Ayodele Olaosebikan and her heartthrob, Dr. Jones Akinbobola.
The wedding was conducted at the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Ojoku Road, Offa by Reverend S. O. Oshoaro, the officiating Minister for the ceremony. In his sermon, Rev. Oshoaro advised the new couple to guard their home jealously and always discourage external interference in their affairs.
He further stressed the need for them to always be prayerful and seek Holy Spirit to guide them through their daily activities.
Among eminent personalities who graced the event in honour of the Olaosebikans were the Polytechnic Principal Officers led by the Rector, Dr. Mufutau Olatinwo and his wife, Hajia Mojisola Olatinwo; the Registrar, Alh. AbdulHamid Raji and his wife; the Polytechnic Librarian, Dr. Femi Quadri and the Bursar, Mr. Paul Adegbemi. Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments/Units in the institution were also at hand to give their moral support.
At the wedding reception, the Chairman of the occasion, Engr. Alabi thanked the guests and other well-wishers for taking out time to honor both families of Rev. Dr. and Dr. Mrs. David Olaosebikan and Elder and Deaconess Jones Smart Akinbobola. He also advised the couple to always put God first in their dealings. He described the coming together of both families as God’s plan.
In his delightful mood, the groom, Dr. Jones Akinbobola, described his wife as the most beautiful woman, respectful and submissive. He thanked God for giving him such a special gift for wife. The new couple however expressed their gratitude to the guests for attending the occasion as they said they would forever remain grateful to all for joining them to celebrate one of their most joyful moments.
