The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. (Pastor) Kola Oluwawole, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s end of Ramadan fasting.

This was at Otun-Ekiti Central Mosque and Osan Ekiti Muslim prayer ground during their prayers.According to a release by his Special Assistant on media, Stephen Gbadamosi, Oluwawole said “I want to seize this opportunity to felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters across the nation, Ekiti State and in all the wards of Moba Local Government Area of the state. The blessing we have received will abound forever in our lives.”He charged them to always remember the lessons they have leant in the course of fasting and allow it to reflect in their lives.

Oluwawole had earlier visited Otun-Ekiti Central Mosque in Moba Local government area of the state on Wednesday evening where he met with Muslim leaders across the local government, prayed together, distributed food items and cash gift for them to ease the celebration.He enjoined them to use the auspicious moment to pray for the state that peace of God should continue to reign particularly before, during and after the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

He appreciated them for their cooperation, prayer and support for the government of Governor Ayodele Fayose and assured them that Kolapo Olusola Eleka, the Aremo Osoko, would also perform excellently well as the next governor of the state.He, therefore, called on them to vote massively for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming governorship election so as to ensure victory of Eleka/Deji Ogunsakin government.

Kabiyesi Olosan of Osan-Ekiti, HRM, Oba Tajudeen Bamidele Jimoh, who was at the prayer ground and other Muslim leaders in the local government appreciated the presence of the speaker and the gifts received, while promising to always stand by him.
