Doomsday prophecy: Don’t vilify the servant of God, church warns 5 dep. governors

The INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos has warned the deputy governors of Abia, Ebonyi, Kano, Sokoto and Taraba states to refrain from vilifying the servant of God, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele on account of his prophecy concerning them.

The church urged the deputy governors to seek the face of God instead of pouring angry outburst on the servant of God for disclosing the revelation he had concerning their rapport with their governors.

The cleric had prophesied that deputy governors of Abia, Ebonyi, Kano, Sokoto and Taraba states would have issues with their principals (governors) before the end of their tenure.
A prophecy which the deputy governors promptly rejected, saying it was meant to create rancour and disaffection in the polity.
An online news platform had at the weekend published the prophecy in which the cleric made certain assertions concerning the future of the concerned politicians.
However, rejecting the prophecy, the deputy governors dismissed it as bogus, accusing the cleric of inaccuracies in his prophecies.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Kelechi Igwe in a statement described the publication as outright falsehood and figment of the imagination of the cleric.
But INRI Church in its reaction urged the deputy governors not to condemn what they don’t understand, saying they should be concerned about the state of the nation and how to navigate the country out of its current recession.
A statement by the Director of Public Communications Department of the church, Rev Tony Azuka said the deputy governors are ignorant of spiritual matters, stressing that Ayodele has been accurately predicting national and international occurrences before the concerned persons became deputy governors of their various states.
“It is rather unfortunate that the deputy governors should be reproving the prophet instead of seek the face of God concerning their careers. God has been speaking through Primate Ayodele on national and international occurrences before these deputy governors attained their current political post as deputy governors.
“They should consider what to do concerning the state of the nation. Ayodele is a prophet of God and by attacking the prophet of God; they are disgracing the nation and distancing themselves from God. They should have kept quiet and allow God to intervene on their situations. This is not what is expected of the deputy governors because any attack on the prophet of God is an attack on the Lord who sent the prophet. The deputy governors should refrain from fighting God and seek guidance on spiritual matters,” the statement said.
According to the church, the litanies of Ayodele’s prophecies that have been fulfilled over the years abound in the areas of sports, entertainment, business and economy; national and international politics among others. Below are some of the fulfilled prophecies that were published in some national dailies.
