Don’t sell your votes :Hajiya Rukayya Atiku

Hahaha Rukayya Atiku, wife of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has warned voters against vote buying, reminding them of their civic responsibilities of electing their leaders.

Hajiya Atiku, who said this in Bauchi during the PDP North East women rally in the state, called on women to vote PDP in 2019 to curb poverty, unemployment and drug abuse among youths as well as improve the education sector.

Hajiya Atiku then distributed empowerment and food items to women groups to alleviate poverty and reduce unemployment in the state.

Some of the things she distributed are 500,000 chicks,1,400 packs of macaroni,1,000 bags of rice, among other items.

Also speaking at the rally , the wife of PDP gubernatorial candidate in Bauchi, Hajiya Aisha Mohammed, ,said if PDP returns to power in 2019, women and youths issues would be in the forefront.

Hajiya Mohammed appealed to Bauchi women to support PDP candidates at all levels for national development.”No woman should accept any form of vote buying or collect any soap gift for her vote”, she said.
