General Overseer of the Christian Pentecostal Mission (CPM) International, Rev Dr Obiorah Ezekiel has warned opponents of President Goodluck Jonathan to desist from attacking him unjustly.
He also urged the citizens to guard their tongues, describing the organ as the most dangerous weapon of destruction.
Ezekiel also warned the Boko Haram insurgents and their sponsors to repent or face the wrath of God.
He decried the attitude of those who are fanning the embers of ethnicity in the house of God and appealed to them to repent, saying that racial or tribal discrimination is not of God whose kingdom is a variety of many children.
Ezekiel sounded this warning while delivering his sermon during the International conference of the Pentecostal Action Team (PAT), the men’s ministry of the church, entitled ‘Understanding the times.’
He reminded the critics of President Jonathan what befell Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron in the Bible when they criticized Moses for taking an Ethiopian wife. “They talked about Moses when he was not there but God heard it. God is God of varieties, watch what you say. Hold your tongue; don’t use your tongue to pull down any man. God will hear because God ordains powers. If you misuse your tongue, the anger of the Lord will be reinkindled. Those who are running the leader down should watch out,” he said.
“Nigerians watch, church watch, God is God of history, the glory of God will depart from many people, tell the politicians that they dare not touch the church, the church belonged to Christ. Jesus died and disgraced Satan, tell Boko Haram that they cannot prevail against the church.”
He portrayed the Boko Haram terrorists as beasts in human skin but assured Nigerians that God would judge the terrorists. “God will not keep quiet. Those who are sponsoring them will not smell that seat (Aso Rock). This is a free country and it must remain so, anyone who is sponsoring the destruction of this nation will not see next year. “ he said.
Addressing the participants, the cleric urged them to bear each other’s burden, stressing that comfort and edification are the hallmark of as the wise men and urged the participants to encourage and build one another in the Lord. He quoted 1Thesalonica 5:11 to buttress his position.
Delivering her address to the conference delegate, the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan urged Christians to seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, stressing that only when the righteous people occupy positions of authority that the people will rejoice.
Mrs. Jonathan who was represented by the Special Adviser to the President on Ethics and Values, Mrs Sarah Jubril, charged church leaders to raise righteous people that would occupy elective positions in the country.
She said, “We want Christians to go into politics so that the righteous will reign, let the church raise the righteous people in politics so that the people will rejoice. “
She also advised Christians not despair in the face of current insurgency in Northern part of the country, stressing that Boko Haram must be defeated. “We will win the war whether it is against Boko Haram or whoever,” she said.
Leaders of the Pentecostal Action Team (PAT), Engr. Igwilo Osita and Barr. Ike Ugwoke told newsmen that this year’s the event met the expectations and spiritual needs of the delegates.
“This year’s conference is an improvement on what happened four years ago when we had the last edition. The men in this ministry have been able to add value to the lives of our members because after the last conference, we came up with several ideas that would enable us reach out to the men at the grassroots. Part of the things we did was to group the men to different clusters for effective leadership and management.
“We carefully chose people of integrity and those that have the fear of God to oversee each of these groups. And they are doing very well; members have been benefitting from the empowerment packages that have been going on under this structure.
“ Many people have immensely benefitted from the several programmes that we have put together, for instance, members of each group that is into one business or the other that requires to funding what he is doing, these groups have structures that are put together whereby finance is put together and advanced to such persons provided that they are identified as members.
“That has immensely helped our members to be able to break out from poverty. We have also put up a structure to be able to reach out to people because as a ministry, soul winning is very important to us and each time we gather together, we have not failed to reach out to win souls. We have also put up different units for evangelism and soul winning,” the officials said.”
Awards were presented to some delegates that excelled in evangelism, quiz competition, attendance, and match past, songs, drama and commitment with Abia delegates emerging the overall winners in three categories.

Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital played host to the Africa Conference for Evangelists which ended last Sunday.     Pastor Donna Smiley Young from Sacramento, California, United States of America had opened up the opening day plenary session with a powerful word entitled, ‘Prepare to reach Nations.’
She reiterated the message God gave to her some years ago about Africa becoming the womb of God that will produce a fivefold ministry gift that will take over the world for Christ. She further challenged the evangelists to go to the nations in spite of setbacks and difficulties.
On his arrival for the event, Rev. Keith Cook was celebrated by Bishop Michael Amamieye for his dedication to the gospel of Christ. Bishop Amamieye noted that since inception of the Africa Conference for Evangelists, four years ago, Rev.Cook has celebrated his birthday in Nigeria.
“We honour this man of God for his sacrifices especially his wife Joan Cook who has always released him to serve the Lord with us in Nigeria. Bishop Amamieye also informed the conference delegates of the fact that most of the materials given at the conference were packaged by Rev. Cook and his on the go team from several ministries including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Luis Palau Association, Next Generation Alliance and others.
At each conference, we have given over two hundred books and materials worth several thousands of dollars to equip the evangelists to do the work. At his first session, Rev. Keith Cook began teaching on how to start an Evangelistic Ministry. The foundation he built will help every upcoming evangelist discover his gift and call as a ministry with a mandate tofulfill the great commission. The evangelist will learn how to educate, train, mobilize and win.
Zach Blickens also thrilled the participants with his songs as he led the evangelists in a time of singing and dancing with his popular tune, ‘God is so good.’ Later in the session, Rick Willison, Matt Kearney and Blickens were released to go forth to minister to a group of youngpeople where eight souls gave their lives to Christ and several others made a re-commitment to Christ.
Blicken later taught a group of evangelists in one of the afternoon workshops, his teaching dwelt on how to develop an effective Youth Ministry.
From his passionate teaching, Rev. Dr. Femi Richard Bolaji testified to the fact that Zach taught with great depth and strength. He noted that the teaching was very relevant to every church that desires to build an effective Youth Ministry.
Pastor Shadrach Lohouter took the workshop class where he taught on how to reach Muslims with the gospel. He taught on the power of relational evangelism as the most effective means ofreaching the Muslims. The fact that Europe is becoming Islamized by birth is something worth thinking. While they are spreading their religion with the sword, we have to reach them with the sword of the Spirit which is God’s word through our love for them.
Archbishop Idem Ikon on his part stated the importance of love of Christ as a tool to soul winning. Ikon who has been preaching this gospel for over 47 years has travelled to over 70 nations.  “We have a responsibility to reach thelost and win them for Christ,” he said.

The General Overseer of Revival Assembly Church, Apostle Anselm Madubuko has accused many pastors of practicing occultism.
He said a lot of pastors practise occultism in the church using God to cover up their acts.
“It is painful for me to see what so many pastors are doing. So many of them are practising occultism in the church. They do all this for the love of money, power, for fame and they have compromised their faith. They are acting films on the pulpit, forging miracles and faking testimonies and unfortunately, people are falling victims”.
“They have their support from their relatives; they connive with these people to hear what they shouldn’t hear. They give different contracts forgetting that we have also seen successful witches and wizards in Nigeria. They talk about Jonathan’s success, claiming they are responsible for it. These people may know your problems, but they don’t have the solutions, because they are not from God.
“They use and take advantage of your problems to siphon you and that is the most painful aspect. But for all the true servants of God who are genuinely called by God, I pray that God would keep them and give them the power to establish more churches, because we don’t have enough churches yet. We are over 150 million people. So, we need more churches to cater for the souls that are perishing,” he said.

EVERY move of the Spirit is always accompanied by a strong restoration wave. We must also recognize that supernatural restoration is a vital aspect of the end-time agenda.
Every lover of God is a candidate for His restoration agenda. His lovers are His priorities in executing His restoration agenda. So, anything that belongs to you cannot be successfully held down by any man. The release is mandatory and it is dangerous for anyone to hold back what belongs to you. God’s lovers will not just get back what they have lost, they will also get them back with supernatural extras.
When Abimelech returned Sarah, he returned her with extra treasures, male servants, maid servants, a thousand talents of silvers, and any land of Abraham’s choice (Genesis 20:14-18). Everything came back with supernatural extras. Yours is coming back today!
We have some outstanding Biblical testimonies of restoration that will help see this light:
•    ABRAHAM: Abraham was in love with God, so, he was called God’s friend (James 2:23). When Abimelech took his wife, God said to Abimelech, ‘You are a dead man, restore the man his wife.’ The enemies are not permitted to hold back anything that belongs to His lovers.
Every seed of Abraham that operates in the love of God as a lifestyle, is entitled to supernatural restoration. Abraham was God’s friend. Are you a friend of God?
•    JOB: He had a heart for God. When he was challenged, his wife told him to curse God and die, but he refused. The more difficult things were for Job, the hotter his love for God. In Job 42:10-14, God visited Job with a strong wave of supernatural restoration. As long as nothing shakes your relationship with God, your restoration is sure.
•    DAVID: He was a man after God’s own heart. In 1 Samuel 13:14, the Amalekites came and invaded the city and took away all their wives, children, and belongings. And David inquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop?…he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all (1 Samuel 30:8).
Every addicted lover of Christ cannot be robbed; whatever is taken from them must be returned. When you are truly in love, you are not permitted to suffer losses. Love entitles you to the miracle of restoration, any day.

Covenant Gateways To Supernatural Restoration:
New birth (Romans 6:23): New birth is a fundamental requirement for every candidate of restoration. Being born again means restoration of life to one that was already dead. Until you are saved, you are not a candidate for restoration.
You must be baptized in the Holy Ghost (Isaiah 61:1-3): It is not enough to be saved; you must be empowered to qualify for restoration. You need baptism in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in new tongues, to qualify for full-scale restoration.
The Blood of Jesus (Zechariah 9:11-12): You can engage the Blood of Jesus in warfare against the forces holding back what belongs to you (Revelation 12:11). The Blood is God’s last card in the battles of life. You can engage the Blood of Jesus in warfare, against the strong man sitting on your belongings.
Kingdom stewardship (Job 22:21-25): Every true steward is God’s candidate for restoration. Kingdom stewardship is one of the gateways to supernatural restoration. God is not looking for whom to use; He is looking for whom to bless (Psalm 65:4).
Prophets: They are agents of restoration, any day, anytime and anywhere.
So, God has positioned men to command restoration (1 Kings 17:8-24). They are called prophets as proven all through scriptures. When you open your heart to the ministry of a prophet, you have opened the door of your life to a life of restoration.
Friend, accessing the gateways to supernatural restoration, is the preserve of those born again. You are born again by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You can do so now if you haven’t been, as you say this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. From today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Now I know I am a child of God.” I will be with you again next week. Be Blessed!
