The Most Rev. Prof Adebayo Akinde, is the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Lagos and Bishop of Lagos Mainland Church of Nigeria [Anglican Communion],  a cerebral but unassuming leader who has served as a consultant to notable organizations like the Commonwealth, UNESCO, WHO, UNDP and  Federal Ministry of Education among others. In this interview with INNOCENT OKONKWO, he speaks on the state of the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, National Assembly’s leadership crisis and same-sex marriage among other issues.

A renowned cleric, Pastor Austin Udeoha has challenged office holders to curb corruption in Nigeria by sponsoring a bill on capital punishment for corrupt practices.
The cleric specifically tasked the Executive and legislature to expedite action on war against corruption if they are free from corruption which has been the bane of development in the country.
