THE presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has told the people of Yobe and Borno states that despite voting massively for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2015, they have not got anything in return.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Mohammed Magagaji Ibrahim, has said 409,893 Internally Displaced Persons, (IDPs) would cast their votes in IDP camps in Borno in the  2019 general election to be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission across  eight local government areas of the state.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has chided the Buhari Presidency for its planned hurried commissioning of the uncompleted section of the Lagos-Ibadan railway, as a pre-election gimmick to hoodwink Nigerians and create an impression of performance, when there is none.The party therefore calls on Nigerians to be very cautious of the project as its opening without completion and installation of critical components and infrastructure will be a great risk to lives and property.
