In this interview with JONAS EZIEKE he speaks on the defection of Speaker Aminu Tambuwal to the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC), the recent constitution amendment exercise and other issues in the House. Taraba State House of Assembly has pass vote of Confidence on the state Acting Governor, Alhaji Garba Umar following his efforts in developing the state.
The matter under public importance was read on the floor of the house by the member representing Ibi State Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Abdulkarim and Seconded by Member representing Jalingo I Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Imam. 

Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe contested and won election in 1983 to represent Orlu Senatorial District of Imo State in the National Assembly. In 1992, he contested the presidential primaries of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) that was later canceled. The Fourth Republic saw him serving as a senator between 1999 and 2007. He speaks in this interview with JOHN SILAS at his Haven of Peace country home in Oguta, Imo State on a wide range of issues, including the 1993 poll, 2015 elections and insecurity in the nation. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State has conducted its national delegates’ congress in all the 21 local government areas of the state.
The exercise was devoid of any violence or rancour.
It was monitored by the Independent National Commission (INEC), was to elect one man national delegates in each local government area of the state.

MAO Ohuabunwa, former Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives needs no introduction. For the eight years he was in the House, he was very influential not only in the House, but also in the PDP national leadership. In this brief interview with Deputy Editor, MALACHY UZENDU, Ohuabunwa spoke on why he wants to move over to the Upper Chamber, the import of decampment by politicians, especially Aminu Tambuwal, as well as other issues. INDEPENDENT National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday suspended the implementation of the controversial 30,027 polling units it recently created.
The commission had released a list of allotment of polling units which elicited sharp criticism, especially from the southern parts of the country over an obvious cheating in the allotment announced by INEC chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, a northerner.

Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji, has won BusinessDay States’ Competitiveness and Good Governance Awards as the best performing Governor in education and youth empowerment in 2014.
The awards, which took place at the prestigious EKO Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, makes it the second time that the Abia State Governor will be wining the prestigious awards.
