ALL Progressive Congress (APC) yesterday demanded for concrete statement from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the sanctity of next month’s general elections.
This was as the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Edo State, Barr. Mike Igini warned that the political parties were running foul of the law if by the end of today, they failed to submit the names of their agents.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has promised to make peoples welfare his priority if he becomes the next governor of the state.
Agbaje stated this at the official flag-off campaign of the party held at Sky Power besides Archbishop Vining Anglican Church, Ikeja Lagos.

Thousands of women, at the weekend in Lagos, embarked on a solidarity march in expression of support for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid.
The women, under the aegis of Transparency Action Group, marched from Mushin area of the city to the National Stadium in Surulere, waving banners and posters bearing the president’s pictures, and appealing to Nigerians to return him to office.

Coming from journalism to politics, how has the experience been?
It has not been an easy journey so far. In all it has been a wonderful experience , joining active partisan politics specially now that everybody is yearning for positive change. As a trained journalist , I joined politics to make a difference in the way and manner our so-called professional politicians play the game .
