ONYINYECHI UDEMEZUE, Abuja

AS the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) held its 2014 and 11th edition of her Honours Award, the Niger State Governor, Dr. Ma’azu Babangida Aliyu, Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion as well as former Minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, were among the recipients of the awards meant to recognise arts lovers and promoters across the country.

Kulanen Ikyo, is a sound designer, music producer and film composer. Recently in his state-of-the art studio in Lagos, reputed as the best in Nigeria today, the sound guru  spoke with JOSEPH UNDU and FAVOUR UMARU where he talks about his latest work in a film, ‘October 1’ his relationship with renowned Film Producer Kunle Afolayan and his previous jobs with Paul Play Dairo and others and his vision to produce film and music sounds that are comparable to those overseas. NOLLYWOOD icon, Stella Damascus, has suspended some of her activities for sometime to reflect over her departed husband Jaiye Aboderin, who passed on to glory about 10 years ago.
The actress wrote a lovely message to commemorate the remembrance of her husband and appreciated every minute spent together while he was alive. She wrote this;

Google’s “Year In Search” ranked the top red carpet dresses that had people searching in 2014, and it was no surprise singer Rihanna was at the top of the list.
The term “Rihanna red carpet” was the biggest fashion-related search spike this year, thanks, presumably, to her sheer Adam Selman gown at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards this past summer.

What could possibly have prompted the recent Instagram post by sexy Tripple MG Music’s first lady, singer and songwriter Emma Nyra in which she apparently dissed the whole act of relationship?
Nyra in her Instagram post gave a hint she’s seeking refuge in music rather than in human relationships.
The “Elele” singer posted an encryptic message on her Instagram early Thursday which read: “I like music more than I like people”.
