THE Federal Government has said that urgent steps will be taken to beef up security in all tertiary institutions in the country to provide protection for students and staff of the institutions.
Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau gave the assurance at Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku, Rivers State Wednesday during the impact assessment tour of public tertiary institutions in the state.

Mrs. Obiano who attributed the high level of unemployment in the country to lack of skill acquisition said such training would better equip the youths, women and graduates to face life’s challenges after formal education.
