Delta State government and the Republic of Ireland have agreed to pursue bilateral relations on economic cooperation on a number of areas with Irish business delegation expected in Nigeria later in the year.
Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and Ireland’s Minister of Trade and Development, Joe Costello agreed that a joint working partnership will be organized to explore opportunities of trade and investments in Delta state and opportunities in Ireland for business interests in Delta state.

The much awaited gospel international crusade, ODM World Anointing Night will hold at the TafawaBalewa Square Lagos, on Friday January 31, 2014, from 6pm till dawn. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had in its possession, tapes of terrorist attacks on innocent Nigerians, which it intends to air to achieve its selfish purpose.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisah Metu, PDP said upon the release of the tapes, the APC must explain to Nigerians how it got hold of them.
