Ahead of the scheduled general elections, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Monday launched its violence-free polls campaign tagged “Do the Right Thing, Wage Peace 2015”
The initiative is to sensitize the public on the need to eschew violence before, during and after elections, now scheduled for March 28 and April 11.

The prospects of health insurance coverage for 40 per cent of Nigerians by the end of 2015 are growing impressively, given the ever-increasing nationwide clamour for the Community-Based Social Health Insurance Programme of (NHIS).
The latest expression of this was the recent flag-off of the programme for the people of Gwiwa Sire, in the Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

Edo State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Thursday expressed doubt over the sincerity and commitment of the Edo State Resident Electoral commissioner towards the conduct of credible elections and therefore passed a “no confidence vote” on the Commission.
The union also asked members to boycott the commission’s activities till further notice.
