Ahead of the scheduled general elections, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Monday launched its violence-free polls campaign tagged “Do the Right Thing, Wage Peace 2015”
The initiative is to sensitize the public on the need to eschew violence before, during and after elections, now scheduled for March 28 and April 11.
Lagos State House of Assembly has called for the prosecution of the former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and other cohorts who allegedly connived with Nigeria army to rig Ekiti Election against the immediate past governor in the state, Dr Kayode Fayemi.

Edo State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Thursday expressed doubt over the sincerity and commitment of the Edo State Resident Electoral commissioner towards the conduct of credible elections and therefore passed a “no confidence vote” on the Commission.
The union also asked members to boycott the commission’s activities till further notice.
