Badeh: Police gives update on killers of ex-Defense Chief

Over 50 Boko Haram terrorists were on Monday night killed by the military when the terrorists attempted to invade Konduga town, the headquarters of Konduga Local Government Area of Borno state.
A military source who pleaded anonymity, told Daily Champion that the insurgents came at about 8:30pm on Monday to attack the town and the gun duel lasted for more than three hours.
Meanwhile, a 24-hour curfew has been imposed on Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, following Monday’s attacks on the town by insurgents.

Scores of people including members of the Boko Haram were killed yesterday when members of the Islamic sect launched separate attacks on Damaturu and Maiduguri, the Yobe and Borno States’ capitals, respectively.

A military source in Damaturu, who pleaded anonymity, said scores of insurgents flooded the town from Gujba, which has been a stronghold of the sect.
