What are the church’s contributions towards ensuring peace in the coming general elections?
The contributions come in two major areas, one is advocacy, and of course the Bible says that prayer without work is dead. Primarily, we all need that faith to pray for the peace of the nation, the individuals and citizens of the country.
In its efforts to ensure peace in Nigeria during and after the next general elections, the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Lagos recently embarked on 14 days prayers and fasting session.

What is the importance of today’s event?
Today is our Annual thanksgiving, and we are really appreciating God for keeping us alive through out January to December.
How does it concern our nation?
Any nation without God is corrupt and for a nation to stand up is also God, therefore the nation must realized that they have a creator and they must give him thanks.
Is there anything to thank God for in this country?
“And it came to pass that as that as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithsoever thou go, and Jesus said unto him foxes have holes And birds in the air have nests but the son of man has no where to lay is head, and another said unto him, Lord suffer me first to go and buried my father , Jesus said unto him, let the dead bury their dead, but go thou and preach the kingdom of God, and another also said, Lord I will follow thee, but let me first go bid them farewell which are home at my house.

Understand that God’s success plan is not a promise, but a covenant. This implies that until our part is adequately played, God is not committed to deliver. The Bible says: My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips (Psalm 89:34).
