The Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) has rejected moves by the Federal Government to privatise public health institutions.
National Chairman of JOHESU, Comrade Joy Bioblemoye, who spoke during a mass rally against happenings in the health sector, said the challenges facing the sector was corruption and lack of fair management in the system.

Medical experts decry prevalence of cancer In Nigeria


Nigerians have been charged to rise against the scourge of cancer at whatever stage of development in the country.Medical practitioners in Ekiti State gave the charge at a public lecture entitled “Fighting The Scourge of Cancer In Nigeria”, held at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), Ekiti State.


Following its commitment towards expanding the impact of the various free life-saving initiatives, Mass Medical Mission (MMM), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO),  has launched ‘Health Education on the Go’ (HETGo) initiative, a community mobilization campaign.
