HP , Nigerian officials close down international counterfeit operation

HP has worked with local Nigerian authorities to close down a large-scale international counterfeiting operations in Lagos. As part of the raid, there were several large seizures in the Lagos and Abuja regions in shops, warehouses and at manufacturing sites. The Nigerian officials were able to seize 142,000 illegal items, which were primarily components for manufacturing counterfeit toner and ink cartridges.

In the spirit of the yuletide season, leading telecoms services provider, Airtel Nigeria, has partnered with Chicken Republic, a subsidiary of Food Concepts Plc, to feed over 5,000 less privileged Nigerians as part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility initiative dubbed ‘Airtel Five Days of Love.’
