Suspected pipeline vandals on Monday attacked the Owutu Police Division of the Lagos Police Command along Agric Bus stop in the Ikorodu area of Lagos killing two policemen and a civilian during the attack.
The attackers, who reportedly wielded pump-action rifles, came on three motorcycles and a commercial bus at about 10pm.

The Lagos State Police Command in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu and made available to Daily Champion said it has uncovered a fake Facebook account bearing the name of its Commissioner of Police, CP Kayode Aderanti. The account in question which is “CP Kayode Aderanti” was recently introduced by one shadowy character as the authentic Facebook account of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command to members of the Social Network with the intention of giving the impression that images being displayed and comments from this fraudulent account are made by the reputable Commissioner of Police Lagos State.

DETECTIVES of the Ekiti State Police Command have arrested five suspects for the rape of a 14-year-old girl at Ikole-Ekiti on November 21.
The suspects names according to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Victor Babayemiwere were given as Olaoluwa Gbenga, aged 20, Dada Samson, aged 18 and Saliukazeem, aged 19.

NO fewer than 8,400 bags of rice has been seized from smugglers by the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun State Command between the months of September and November this year.
