The Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone ‘A’ of the Nigeria Customs Service recently charged two accused persons Mr. Fares Chawich a Lebanese and his Nigerian accomplice Chief Emmanuel Ekong of 27A Bishop Oluwole Street Victoria Island Lagos and No. 17 Sobo Arobiodu Street GRA Ikeja respectively to the Federal High Court Ikeja for tampering with the Customs seal placed on five exotic vehicles in their premises for clearing discrepancies.

The Lagos Police Command said, it has arrested several suspected armed robbers in different locations across Lagos  during May 29th, governorship inauguration in the state.
According to Police  statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer ASP. Ken Nwosu, the Police patrol team attached to Orile Division while on patrol along Lagos/Badagry express way by Orile bus stop, intercepted a motor cyclist and a pillion where one Chinedu Okeke with a bag containing Ak-47 rifle no 57012, three magazines and twenty five live ammunition was arrested

The Lagos State Police Command has reiterated it’s determination in ensuring peace and security of Lagos residents.
In a statement made available to Daily Champion, the Command’s Spokesman DSP. Ken  Nwosu, assured the general public of the resolve of the Lagos State Command to sustain the tempo of crime fighting to ensure that Lagosians and all others who have cause to come to Lagos enjoy a conducive environment for business and leisure.

Nigerian Navy has promised to effectively police Nigeria waterways in the Niger Delta beforeBay, during and after the 2015 general elections.
Speaking in Port Harcourt, the New Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Naval Command, Rear Admiral, Henry Babalola,   said the recent deployment of troops on the waterways was in compliance with the request of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).


IT is no longer news that Nigeria’s no nonsense, fearless and incorruptible Police Officer, an Inspector General of Police (AIG), Joseph Mbu is now the AIG Zone 2, comprising of Lagos and Ogun States.
AIG Mbu’s posting to the zone rings bell to those in the corridors of power and the lawless citizens. Just before he settled down for work, Mbu vowed to deal decisively with any law breaker without fear or favour before, during and after elections in accordance with the provisions of the law no matter his or her status in the society.
