The Lagos Police Command said, it has arrested several suspected armed robbers in different locations across Lagos during May 29th, governorship inauguration in the state.
According to Police statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer ASP. Ken Nwosu, the Police patrol team attached to Orile Division while on patrol along Lagos/Badagry express way by Orile bus stop, intercepted a motor cyclist and a pillion where one Chinedu Okeke with a bag containing Ak-47 rifle no 57012, three magazines and twenty five live ammunition was arrested

Suspected pipeline vandals on Monday attacked the Owutu Police Division of the Lagos Police Command along Agric Bus stop in the Ikorodu area of Lagos killing two policemen and a civilian during the attack.

The account in question which is “CP Kayode Aderanti” was recently introduced by one shadowy character as the authentic Facebook account of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command to members of the Social Network with the intention of giving the impression that images being displayed and comments from this fraudulent account are made by the reputable Commissioner of Police Lagos State.
