‘.I stand by my prophecy’
Spiritual Head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has said that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cannot break Nigeria despite the current agitations for restoration of Biafra.
He however, said Biafra would be actualized but not by Kanu. “Biafra will be actualized but Kanu will not actualize it,” Ayodele told Daily Champion in an interview recently. He said that the Kanu-led IPOB would split because of some wrong steps it has taken in its quest for actualization of Biafra. Ayodele also predicted that the November 18 Governorship poll in Anambra State and 2019 General elections would hold as scheduled.
Ayodele, who had recorded some levels of accuracy in his predictions, said he stood by his prophecy that Nigeria would split in 2035 but noted that there will be referendum in the nation after 2019. “The 2035 prophecy on the splitting of Nigeria is still intact, only God can change it,” he said. “It will get to a certain time that one person cannot rule this country again. There will be geopolitical separation, call it any name, they may call it regionalism or federalism but there will be no interference from the federal government. The centre will be weak. Lagos, for instance, will be taking care of itself with its income, likewise Kano and others,” he said.
The cleric said that Nigeria’s current challenges and hardship being experienced by the citizens had spiritual connotation and called on the leaders to seek spiritual solution in addressing the state of the nation.
He called on the political leaders to join hands in salvaging the nation from imminent disaster irrespective of political affiliations. He said, “There is a problem in the land, it is not about Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) or All Progressives Congress (APC), it is not by any of these parties that Nigeria will move forward. Nigeria’s problem is spiritual and must be addressed spiritually.”
“In 2014, I had a prophecy which was published in your newspaper, where I stated that the victory of Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 Presidential election won’t be the solution to Nigeria’s problems. The prosperity of this nation is not tied to any political party.”The cleric said, “If Buhari goes for the second term in 2019, he will be troubled by his health. And it will cause another chaos in the villa. It will also create a crack among the northerners. My advice is that Buhari should just step-down and make a way for another person.“However, I see another Northern president in 2019. Igbo Presidency may come after 2019. The Igbo time will still come but not in 2019.”On the state of the economy, Ayodele said, “There is no peace in the country, this country hasn’t gotten out of recession, we are still in recession, and they are saying that Nigeria is out of recession for political reasons. There is serious hunger in the land so government should not deceive the citizens.
“As a matter of fact, one person won’t be able to rule Nigeria after 2019. That is when a new Nigeria will begin when there will be referendum to decide the fate and future of Nigeria.”According to Ayodele, there will be election in Anambra State in November. “No Biafra will stop the governorship election in Anambra. Election of 2019 will also hold in Nigeria,“ he said.“Atiku Abubakar would have been the next President of Nigeria but a lot of factors will fight him except he consults God. He should consult God before he consults humans. He won’t be president if he consults human.”Advising Nigerians on the state of the nation, Ayodele urged them to be steadfast in prayers, stressing that they should not be afraid despite the current happenings in the country.
“Nigerians should seek God and pray for his intervention. This nation is yet to get it right. We should be very prayerful and commit everything into the hands of God, there is a problem, and even the land is no longer yielding crops. We are yet to get the right caliber of leaders. But despite the anxiety, Nigerians should not be afraid,” he said.
