The Founder, Matron, Board of Trustees, the entire members and Staff of Asabe Shehu Yar’Adua Foundation have congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the victory recorded at the just-concluded Presidential and National Assembly Elections.
It would be recalled that last Wednesday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared President Buhari winner of the keenly contested election while the APC recorded absolute majority in the Senate and the House of Representatives.
In its congratulatory message released on Monday, ASYARF said the victory recorded by the President and the party has shown the desire of Nigerians to be taken to the Next Level by Buhari and the APC administration at all levels.
“We thank God for this well deserved victory. With the socio-economic progress achieved since 2015 by the APC administration at all levels of governance in the country, with the new mandate given to the party at the national level, Nigerians have confirmed their support for the reform programmes of the President and have again trusted the APC with their mandate”, the Foundation said.
ASYARF, commending the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on its performance, noted that commendations from local and international observers were confirmation of the transparency of the electoral process.
The Foundation called for continued support of Nigerians for the successful second tenure of President Buhari administration so that it will lead the country to the Promised Land
