Anambra State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Sir Norbert Obi on Tuesday announced that the late National Organizing Secretary of the party, Chief Mike Kwentoh, will be laid to rest on February 7, 2019 in his country home, Onitsha.

Kwentoh died on December 29, 2018 after a brief illness. Addressing journalists at the party’s secretariat in Awka, Obi said the burial ceremonies would take place at the Christ the King College, CKC, Onitsha.

According to him, the event would be attended by both national and state officials of the party. It would be recalled that the late Kwentoh was for many years the state chairman of APGA.

Signing the condolence register at the party’s headquarters in Awka, the state chairman described the late Kwentor as a consummate and honest politician who worked very hard to ensure that APGA remained a strong political force in Anambra State.

His statement in the condolence register reads: “The sad news of your sudden demise was shocking and we in APGA pray the almighty God to grant your soul eternal rest.”
