Business mogul and convener of defunct Transformation Agenda of Nigeria (TAN), Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, and Senator Stella Odua top the list of five aspirants cleared to contest People’s Democratic Party governorship primaries in Anambra State.

Other aspirants cleared are Dr Alex Obiogolu, former minister Prince John Okechukwu Emeka, and a member of the House of Reps Lynda Chuba Ikpeazu.

While former Secretary to State Government in Anambra, Mr. Oseloka Henry Obaze, was given a conditional clearance pending when the party grants him waiver, Akolisa Ufodike was disqualified over dual citizenship.

The chairman of the screening committee and former Minister of Police Affairs, Maina Waziri said that all aspirants cleared have also agreed to work with the eventual candidate and ensure that PDP returns to seat of power in Anambra State.
