Aisha in Kano, flags-off Buhari’s re-election campaign

The First Lady, Dr Aisha Buhari, on Saturday in Kano, appealed to Nigerians to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 16, 2019 Presidential election as they did in 2015 so as to sustain the Buhari’s initiated social intervention programmes in the country.

Aisha Buhari, who made the appeal yesterday at the North West flag-off of Buhari’s re-election, promised that the President would not disappoint Nigerians, adding that the country is set to move to the next level.

According to her, Buhari has been and still very much committed to the Nigerian project, so as to lift it to greater, where all category of Nigerians would have food on their table.

She explained that her mission in Kano was to gather women and rekindle the hope in the Nigerian project, promising that her husband would continue to steer the ship to greater heights, as well as continue to tackle the state of insecurity. She stressed that by the grace of God, the entire country would be liberated from the hands of insurgents who are currently tormenting some states in the North East.

Prominent among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio, former Lagos State Military Administrator, Brigadier-General Buba Marwa, and many others.

All the dignitaries, commended Buhari’s achievements, just as Marwa claimed that Buhari has already won the election based on his outstanding achievements.

Also, the wives of Imo, Ekiti, Osun Kogi Kaduna, Kebbi, Borno, Jigawa governors and wives of other APC controlled states, not only witnessed the occasion but supported the re-election bid of Buhari.

The flag-off of the campaign attracted thousands of women supporters from the North West zones, as well as women supporters from the 44 Local Government areas of the State.
