Ahmadiyya holds annual conference

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria is set to hold its 63rd  annual conference,(Jalsa Salana), 2014, to be held at the Jamia Ahmadiyya -(Ahmadiyya Missionary Training Centre ) Ilaro-Owode road, Ilaro ,Ogun State.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, National Publicity  Committee,  Qasim Akinreti, the conference slated for December 26-28, 2014 has the theme – “Politics, Social Justice and Global Peace: The Dilemma of Religion.
Four lectures on the theme of the conference will be delivered by eminent Islamic scholars and speakers drawn from the clergy, academia, and the public sector .The three-day event will equally feature special prayers for Nigeria’s 2015 general election and  individual aspirations in the New Year.
Distinguished Nigerians from all walks of life and neighbouring countries across West Africa are expected at the event.
During the 2013 annual conference, over 20,000 delegates across Nigeria and the West African countries were in attendance.
