Abdullahi takes over as new NDLEA commander in Bayelsa

CHINEDU WOSU, Yenagoa

Bayelsa State Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has gotten a new state Commander, he is Mr. Abdullahi Abdul CN who has since resumed duty.

Mr. Abdul takes over from Barrister Mrs. Josephine Obi who has been piloting the affairs of the command for the past three years.

Abdul deployment to the  Bayelsa state was sequel to the Command transfer approved by the Chairman/Chief Executive NDLEA through the national headquarters.

Until Abdullahi Abdul deployment to the state,  he was the former State Commander of Jigawa State Command

.In a statement signed by Supt. Osakwe Ikenna, Public Affairs Unit, Bayelsa state solicits for the cooperation and partnership of the good people and residents of Bayelsa State in fighting the war against illicit drug trade and abuse so as to engender a peaceful, progressive and drug Free State.
