The contemporary world in which we live in, appears to be a “men-dominated” world, with lots of men heading particular sectors, professions, trades, and businesses. Not minding this disturbing fact however; the role of women-or the female folks-in contributing to the greatness of many nations, and societies, world wide, can never be over-emphasized. It is in recognition of women (the female gender), and their glaring contributions to global development, as well as peculiar achievements in the whole world, that the United Nations earmarked March 8 of every year, as international world women day.
