Innoson fires back at GTBank, vows to takeover financial institution

Innoson Group has vowed to takeover Nigeria’s financial institution, GTBank.Cornel Osigwe, Head of Corporate Communications, said this in a statement, while reacting to GTBank response he said: “GTB in a press statement signed by Erhi Obebeduo, claimed that “the judgment allegedly in issue is in respect of Garnishee Proceedings against the account of the Nigerian Customs Service Board domiciled with the Bank and not against the Bank as an entity”. GTB by this claim is nothing short of being economical with the truth.

Equity market closes negative, shedding N137bn

The volume of activities conducted on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) last week increased by 119.44 per cent.The NSE transactions for the week revealed that volume of transactions rose by 1431 as investors traded a turnover of 2.629 billion shares worth N12.794 billion in 15,558 deals against a total of 1.198 billion shares valued at N12.273 billion that exchanged hands the previous week in 18,293 deals.
