2019: Okorocha believes Imo APC is his property -Arinze

Gov. Okorocha loses in court

An Onisha based quantity surveyor, Hon. Tony Okechukwu Arinze, has said Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state deserves what is happening to him presently for having played God by forcefully insisting that his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, will succeed him as the next Governor of the state without the consent of the people of the state.

“People of Imo state are now enlightened, Okorocha in his wisdom believes that All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State belongs to him.

He is not God to have his son-in-law imposed on the people as his successor, he should stop saying that anybody fighting his son-in-law is fighting God. He can’t play God”.According to Arinze, “it is the people with PVC that will say who will be their next governor. If you had watched what played out during the APC ward congress in Imo state, it will tell you what is going to happen in the 2019 general election.”

Speaking during the burial ceremony of his mother, late Mrs Beatrice Nwakaego Arinze, held at Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon Arinze reiterated that what happened to Okorocha would be a replica of what would happen to President Buhari come the presidential election.

On the death of his mother he said, “I have lost my mentor, a mother par excellence, I feel very sad.Where I am staying now she came and asked me to build a house there and that she is going to be with me, and I built it. She is a loving mother and she is God fearing, a teacher and disciplinarian who brought us up morally”.
