PDP expresses concerns over fresh attempt on Ekweremadu’s life

.Warns against muzzling opposition

Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu has warned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) against muzzling the opposition. According to Ekweremadu in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Uche Anichukwu, if Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former President Goodluck Jonathan were repressive, APC would not have emerged in 2015.

A violent crisis has erupted within the members of the Road Transport Employers Association (RETAN) in Ekiti State leading to 11 members loyal to the union’s South West zonal chairman, Fatimehin Isaac, and a state chairman ship hopeful, Adebayo Aderiye, sustaining serious machete cuts on their heads and parts of their body and being drenched in their own blood on Sunday.
