Naira abuse: CBN, Bankers Committee mull special court offenders

CENTRAL Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has injected the sum $340, 507, 376.51 into the interbank retail Secondary Market Intervention Sales,following last week’s take-off of its intervention in the sale of foreign exchange in Chinese Yuan (CNY). The figures obtained from the CBN on Friday July 27, showed that the US denominated interventions were only for concerns in the agricultural and raw materials sectors.

Buhari now in London for 10-day vacation

President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja Sunday for Lome, Republic of Togo, to participate in two high-level meetings.On arrival, the President will have an interactive session at the Nigerian Embassy with the Nigerian community based in Togo, according to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
