2015 elections: Righteousman, others protest politicians’ deceit

reggae star, Righteousman has reworked his hit track, “No”, featuring a bunch of Nigerian music stars in the re-invented work. This effort which many discerning Nigerians insist is aimed at telling our greedy politicians that people are now wiser than they may have been thinking is a shocking surprise to them.
The track whose video, he directed, showcased front liners like Ortis Wiliki, Buchi, Kimono, Sunny Neji and other top non reggae acts.
Interestingly, each of them came across fine in this refreshingly different and appealing video, indicating strongly that Righteous man who is celebrated for his unique productions have made some appreciable impact in the past ones.
The massive framed act maintained in a telephone chat that he re-invented the protest song so as to let politicians know that they owe the electorate constitutional social welfare which they have never bothered about.
There is no doubt that he and his colleagues have scored themselves high in this reminding effort, as acts through their roles as mirror of the goings on in the society.
Although, they have played this necessary social role well, but the politicians’ morale to embrace their message, rests on them because they are obviously at liberty to do the right thing or ignore it.
